The Health, Safety, and Environment Resource iLibrary (THRIL) offers over 50 online courses including online certificates.

Each THRIL library is designed to address the specific safety training needs for different vertical industries. Any of our online courses can also be customized to better meet your company training programs quickly and cost effectively. 

THRIL courses range from $25.00 and $75.00 with unlimited access for a full year. Click on the appropriate link below to view an outline or to purchase a course.

Online Certificates

The online THRIL library was established to provide a path of incremental learning leading towards three competency-based certificates. Certification Maintenance and Registration Program Points (CMP) are awardedor eligible for these certificates from the:

• Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals BCRSP ,
• Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists CRBOH,
• American Board of Industrial Hygiene ABIH , and
• The University of Calgary Continuing Education awards up to 30 hours of credit towards their EHS certificate.

To obtain the Oilfield Safety Practitioner (OSP) certificate you require 12 hours of training from the Core Courses.

To obtain the Oilfield Safety Specialist (OSS) you require the OSP certificate prerequisite and 12 hours of training from the Elective Courses.

To obtain the Oilfield Safety Technologist (OST) certificate you require the OSP and OSS certificate prerequisites and 12 hours training from courses in the Enrichment Series. This advanced certificate offers Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSPs), Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSPs) and Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROHs) a solution to easily and inexpensively obtain compulsory certification maintenance points to preserve designations.
