BOMA Calgary to Assist Workplace Safety through Distribution of Gemini's Online Training Programs
Occupational Health and Safety major focus
Calgary, Alberta – March 29, 2011 - Gemini Performance Solutions Inc. (Gemini) and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Calgary announced today that they have entered into an agreement to deliver Gemini’s competency-based online industry training to BOMA members.
Gemini has developed The Health, Safety, and Environment Resource iLibrary (THRILTM ) as well as a library for the Commercial Real Estate and Property Management industry. Gemini’s libraries are widely utilized by corporations across North America. As part of the agreement, BOMA will offer their membership over 40 selected courses designed to address the growing demand for a more skilled and competent workforce in Alberta.
BOMA Calgary’s President & CSO Bill Partridge stated, “This partnership allows BOMA to take a proactive role in offering an innovative solution to attract and train skilled workers. We partnered with Gemini on another project with BOMA International and have been very impressed with their expertise and eLearning solutions. BOMA School will provide an efficient and cost-effective solution for our members and create revenue that we can invest back into member services.”
