How to Open a Derivatives Account

Derivatives accounts are available via the ActiveTrader interface. To enable ActiveTrader, simply log in to your Gemini account on your desktop or mobile browser, click on "Account" in the top right corner, and select "ActiveTrader”.

Alternatively, follow these steps to start trading derivatives today:

   a) If you don’t have ActiveTrader enabled yet, .
2. Select “Introducing Perpetual Swaps”
3. Select “Create a Derivatives Account”
4. In a single step:
   a) Name your Gemini Derivatives account
   b) Select the maximum leverage your account can take - this can be adjusted later
   c) Read and accept the derivatives-specific Terms and Conditions
5. Transfer GUSD into your Gemini Derivatives account
6. Start trading!
