About Jasmy (JASMY)

Jasmy (JASMY) is a blockchain-based platform estabilished in Tokyo in 2016 by former Sony executives, including Kunitake Ando and Kazumasa Sato. The project focuses on integrating the Internet of Things (IoT) with blockchain technology to address data sovereignty concerns, giving individuals ownership and control over their personal data.

Its core features include the Personal Data Locker (PDL), which provides users with a private and secure storage space for their personal data, and the Secure Knowledge Communicator (SKC), a system designed to authenticate users and manage data-sharing permissions. By leveraging Ethereum’s blockchain for its ERC-20 token functionality, alongside Edge Computing and InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) for decentralized storage, Jasmy delivers a scalable and privacy-centric ecosystem.
