The Gemini Leaderboard is a feature on Gemini that tracks and rewards the best-performing derivatives traders on our platform. Each competition hosted on the Gemini Leaderboard may have unique rules, objectives, and duration. However, the goal remains the same – achieve the best trading performance during the competition period.

Stay tuned to our blog for more information about each competition as they are announced, including specific details on how to win and the exciting prizes awaiting the top-performing traders.

To be eligible to join the leaderboard you must meet the following requirements:

• Reside in any of the derivatives-supported jurisdictions.
• Be a retail (non-institutional) customer.
• Have a Gemini derivatives account.

Once you have actively opted in to the leaderboard, you are immediately eligible for Volume Victor and P&L Playoff.

To be eligible for ROI Rumble, you must meet the following additional requirements:

• Have at least $250 GUSD in MAV in your derivatives account at the beginning (00:00:00 UTC) and end (23:59:59 UTC) of each 24 hour competition period.
• Complete at least 1 trade in the 24 hour contest window

Please note, in order to see your ranking within the app, you must be in the top 100.

Yes you can! Once you’ve actively opted in to the Gemini Leaderboard, all of your derivatives accounts will automatically participate in all active competitions unless stated otherwise.

ROI Rumble is the first-ever Gemini Leaderboard competition where the top 3 individual (non-institutional) derivatives traders with the highest ROI in each 24-hour period will win the following prizes:

• 1st Prize: $250 GUSD
• 2nd Prize: $100 GUSD
• 3rd Prize: $50 GUSD

To be eligible for ROI Rumble, in addition to joining the Gemini Leaderboard, you must meet the following requirements:

• Have at least $250 GUSD in MAV in your derivatives account at the beginning (00:00:00 UTC) and end (23:59:59 UTC) of each 24 hour competition period.
• Complete at least 1 trade in the 24 hour contest window.

ROI Rumble commenced at 00:00 UTC (8:00am Singapore time) on 1st September 2023 and will run daily until otherwise modified or terminated by Gemini Foundation.

Volume Victor is Gemini’s second leaderboard competition. The top 3 individual (non-institutional) takers with the largest trading volume on the Gemini derivatives platform in each 24-hour period will walk away with the following prizes daily:

• 1st Prize: $300 GUSD
• 2nd Prize: $150 GUSD
• 3rd Prize: $50 GUSD

Volume Victor will commence at 00:00 UTC (8:00am Singapore time) on 4th November 2023 and run daily until modified or terminated by Gemini Foundation.

The P&L Playoff is Gemini’s third Leaderboard competition designed for individual (non-institutional) derivatives customers.

The derivatives trader with the highest profit achieved, including both realized and unrealized, in each 24-hour period will win $500 GUSD daily. The winner will be determined at the end of every 24-hour period, running from 00:00:00 UTC to 23:59:59 UTC, and will be notified via email.

Starting from May 2024, the derivatives trader with the highest number of wins in our daily P&L playoff competition throughout the entire month will win the grand prize of $5,000 GUSD.

Winners will be notified of their rewards via email. Prizes will be credited directly to the winners’ Gemini derivatives account within 72 hours unless stated otherwise.
